When a 70-year-old Alzheimer’s patient began unexplainably dropping weight, her family installed a nanny cam to find out what was going on. They were shocked to see her caregiver shoveling down the food meant for the patient.
The hidden video footage shows Patricia Young eating all the food while watching television. The patient, Ivy McCluskey, was not fed and rapidly dropped weight. She died 12 weeks after the family fired Young.
Young confessed to two counts of abuse. She will be sentenced next month.
